Texas Select has been known around the Dallas/Fort Worth Metroplex since 2002, however, nationally who would have known that one of the leaders in the sporting industry was watching and taking notes. It did not take the Adidas Company long to notice Texas Selects talents and ability to draw in some of the top players in the state. In 2005 Adidas became the leading sponsor of the organization and for the last two years Texas Select has shown why it is deserving of such sponsorship. Now with more than 12 teams under the umbrella they have grown to be one of the top A.A.U organization in the state of Texas. Currently they are the only organization backed by Adidas in the Dallas/ Fort Worth area. |

Texas Select seeks to identify, train and develop the Dallas/Fort Worth area's top basketball talent and assure their competitive excellence by entering regional and national tournaments of "select" basketball teams from around the U.S. The selection of Texas Select players is based on merit, without regard to race, religion or socio- economic status. Though basketball excellence is the goal, the Texas Select program is also about building character, through hard work, discipline, teamwork and good sportsmanship.
